27th Annual Sunset 5K Run and One Mile Fun Run

School Group Registration
School groups must register together, by noon on Friday, April 30th with a designated adult leader.

Family Fun Run
A one mile Fun Run will begin at 6:30 p.m. All children will receive a free ice pop when they complete this run!

Race Director's Notes
*All decisions of the race Director are final.
*No roller skates, headsets, in-line skates, dogs or bicycles will be allowed on the course.
*Strollers must start from the rear of the starting area.
*The course will close 60 minutes after the start of the 5K.
*The weather will be warm. Please take all necessary precautions.
*Have fun and thank you for participating in our Sunset Run!

Parking for Run will be at the Warrington Baptist Church on the corner of Winthrop Ave.
and Valencia St.

Course
Fast, flat, paved loop along the beautiful Bayou Grande and through residential areas. Splits will be given at mile one and two.
At the end of your run you will receive a cold wet wash cloth to help you cool down, fresh fruit and drink! Then you can stay and party while waiting for the Race results!

Results
Computer scored by Results Event Timing. Your number must be pinned to the FRONT of your shorts or shirt. Results will be available after the race and online at htttp://www.runresults.net.

Everyone will enjoy the end of the race party with pizza, music and beverages that include water, sodas and beer.              (post-race beer for runners 21 and older)

Walkers must walk the entire distance to be eligible for awards. No running allowed. Spotters will be on the course.
