As a service
to our
school
parents we
offer before
and after
school care
allowing
children in
grades VPK -
8th
to remain at
school and
under
supervision
outside the
regularly
scheduled
school day.
The program
is located
in our
School
Cafeteria
and has
access to
the
playground
areas.
Children are
invited to
participate
in games,
reading,
socializing,
and
homework.
The program
strives to
provide
individual
attention to
children,
opportunity
for
socialization,
security,
and a
foundation
for
self-esteem.
A light
snack will
be provided
in the
afternoons.
The program
operates
only when
school is in
session and
begins the
first day of
school and
follows the
school
calendar.
Before/After
school care
will not be
provided in
inclement
weather
(such as
hurricane
watches and
warnings)
when the
school has
closed down.
It is
expected
that the
children
behave in a
Christian
manner at
all times,
therefore if
a child’s
behavior is
not
consistent
with the
mission of
our school
the child
will be
withdrawn
from the
program.
This will be
done at the
discretion
of the
director and
the
principal.
On half days
of school
all children
will be
required to
bring their
own bagged
lunch.
An
afternoon
snack will
be provided.
Hot
lunches are
not served
on half days
of school. |
